About

Why us, why soccer?

"Soccer teaches the art of discipline and hard work, it teaches comradery and sportsmanship, acceptance, and compassion, and importantly – it teaches how to win with dignity and lose with dignity.

These skills go on to support our players into adulthood - in turn supporting the growth of our community’s culture.

We provide opportunities to everyone, and above all – our Club has been the support network for thousands of individuals over the years." - Marilyn Tyndall

At Forest Rangers Soccer Club, we put a strong priority around creating a family-like community within our club, from our miniroos, to our senior teams and everybody in between, will always be shown the utmost respect.

Forest Rangers Soccer Club: More Than Just a Football Team

Forest Rangers Soccer Club is more than a football club; it fosters an inclusive community centered on passion and teamwork in Ballarat.

The club welcomes players of all ages and abilities, focusing on growth and belonging rather than just winning. Volunteers and dedicated coaches play a crucial role in maintaining the club's supportive culture, often working behind the scenes.

Forest Rangers promotes gender equality and provides opportunities for women and girls in football, reflecting the community's diversity. A notable milestone was celebrated with a member playing their 600th game, showcasing the strong, lifelong connections within the club.

World Cup Visits Wendouree

Celebrating the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

As we approached the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Forest Rangers Soccer Club (FRSC) was honored to participate in the trophy tour. Being one of the select locations in Victoria to host the trophy, this event has brought exceptional publicity and attention to our fantastic new facility and the offerings of our club.

Welcoming the World Cup trophy into our home was a remarkable opportunity to showcase what we have to offer. Through this experience, we aspire to inspire more young girls and boys to engage in football and chase their dreams of representing their country.
